- birdingbev: The birdbaths have been dry for days and days. In this heat, they need to be filled regularly. The first visitor was a parched squirrel.
- birdingbev: Apparently the parrots of Telegraph Hill are no longer there. But I swear I heard parrots over by Fort Mason.

I just happened to be in the right place at the right time. I took this series in New Orleans on a hot day in May. I love egrets, their white is so pristine. No wonder they were slaughtered by the thousands for their feathers.
