Twitter- birdingbev: There is a pelagic going out of Belmar in mid-August. Any one going?

- birdingbev: The birdbaths have been dry for days and days. In this heat, they need to be filled regularly. The first visitor was a parched squirrel.
- birdingbev: Apparently the parrots of Telegraph Hill are no longer there. But I swear I heard parrots over by Fort Mason.

I love the little swallows…I can never get them still like that…we were told we had to narrow down the box nest hole or they would not use it…sadly most of our swallows have left our back yard …..lovely shot.

Just saw this - great picture! I have just seen Tree Swallows for the first time a few days ago in Colorado. There were so many! I don’t think I’ve seen them in Texas, but my guide says they should be there in the summer. I’m going to look for them for sure.
