I give you a Red-faced Cormorant in breeding plumage taken on a boat trip during the Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival in Homer, Alaska. Brrr. It was cold on the water and the bird was far, so it is not a great picture, but an amazing one.

What an unusual bird! It is much more “attractive” than the black and turkey vultures that I am used to. I like those neck feathers.
