I have been slowing down and taking photos of the tiny world around me. I am really bad at identifying bugs, beetle, insects in general. Please, if you know that they are, let me know.

Here, I’m going with Widow Skimmer.

Mmmm, no idea. Brown Damselfly. Ok, I just made that up.

Some sort of milkweed bug.

Another long-horned type of Milkweed bug, maybe a borer.

Ooo, Ooo, I know this one. Honey Bee. Look at me bein’ all proud.

I absolutely adore Daddy Longlegs.
What kind of buggy boos do you have?

Stumble It!
Oh..I have some buggy boos…will post ..not sure when..
I am like you and dont know my bugs..but trying to learn by reading blogs etc.
Thanks for the bugs..I am proud of u too for knowing the honey bee!
One of the oddest things I ever encountered was down in the Rio Grande Valley while photographing butterflies, the Texas Wasp Moth: http://is.gd/29IsY
The fourth one is a Red Milkweed Beetle (Tetraopes tetrophthalmus). I think the one above it is a Large Milkweed Bug (Oncopeltus fasciatus). I don’t think the Small Milkweed Bug has as much orange on its face. I’m not sure about the damselfly – maybe an Orange Bluet?
Cool bugs!
I Like the Odonates… its very wonderful photo!
